We are a peruvian company with more than 84 years of experience, organized into three business lines: Engineering and Construction, Infrastructure and Real Estate. We have permanent operations in Peru, Chile and Colombia and have participated in the development of projects in 13 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean.

GRAMONVEL FOUNDATION

THREE FOUNDERS: Carlos Graña, Alejandro Graña, Carlos Montero

BAÑOS DE MIRAFLORES

The most important architectural work of the time. It rests on piles and it can hold up to 500 people.

DAIRY PLANT IN VENEZUELA

First work abroad built for Nestlé, over an area of 9,800 m2

EL PATO AIR BASE

Built during the Second World War as a military base of the USA in Talara – Peru.

CONSTRUCTION OF THE CITY OF TALARA

Located in north Piura. We built five districts with 4,322 houses, schools, markets, churches, commercial area, the refinery, and an airport.

MERGER BETWEEN MORRIS Y MONTERO AND GRAÑA Y MONTERO

Gramonvel and Morris y Montero merge. They build new capacities to develop infrastructure projects.

HOSPITAL DEL EMPLEADO

Installation of 1,250 beds in an area of 130,000 m2. The Eduardo Rebagliati Hospital -as it is known today- is still the most important hospital in Lima, due to its large healthcare capacity.

CARRETERA PANAMERICANA SUR (SOUTH HIGHWAY)

430 km, from Lima to Arequipa (Peru)

MINISTRY OF ECONOMICS AND FINANCE

We built 12 floors in a 42.000 m2 area.

MINISTERIO DE EDUCACIÓN

The first building constructed with metal structure in Peru.

CAÑÓN DEL PATO POWER PLANT

One of hydro electrical plants that supplies most energy to the National Interconnected System in Peru.

JORGE CHÁVEZ INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

We paved the most important airport in Peru, which is also one of the most visited in Latin America.

PASEO DE LA REPÚBLICA EXPRESSWAY

Major traffic road in the city of Lima.

FÁBRICA DE CEMENTOS LIMA (CEMENT FACTORY)

Construction of six large reinforced concrete silos of 15 millimeters in diameter by 47 meters in height.

HOTEL SHERATON

First International Five-Star Hotel in Peru. It was an icon of that age.

TORRE DEL CENTRO CÍVICO (CIVIC CENTER TOWER)

With 109 meters, it was the highest building of Peru until 2011.

DIVERSIFICATION

Growing and diversifying is the new business challenge. New emerging companies: GMI, GMD, GMP.

MACHU PICCHU POWER PLANT

The greater energy investment project of southern Peru.

GMI GOES INTERNATIONAL

PURCHASE OF VIAL Y VIVES – CHILE

Investment in the mining sector at regional level. It joins the Engineering and Construction area.

LAS BAMBAS MINING PROJECT
Located in Apurímac - Peru, it demanded the participation of 3,800 employees and more than 17 million man hours.
CERRO DEL AGUILA HYDROELECTRIC POWER PLANT
It provides electricity to 10% of the demand of the national interconnected electric system. A team of more than 2,200 people participated.

CERRO VERDE MINE
Our team built the largest copper concentrator plant in the world in just 24 months. More than 15 million hours of work were dedicated.
BIRTH OF VIAL Y VIVES – DSD

The merger of Vial y Vives and DSD Construcciones y Montajes gave rise to Vial y Vives – DSD, one of the best-qualified companies to serve the Chilean mining sector.

PURCHASE OF MORELCO – COLOMBIA

Consolidation of the Group’s experience in the oil and gas sector. It joins the engineering and construction area.

OPENING OF THE ACADEMIA GRAÑA Y MONTERO

Strengthening of CCA and enhancement of the Group’s knowledge management culture.

MODERNIZATION OF THE TALARA REFINERY
Port of embarkation Totoralillo

The objective of the Totoralillo project is to transform an iron boarding port into a mixed iron-copper port at Punta Totoralillo Port. This project will allow the storage of 50,000 tons of copper to transport them to the ships, and thus, be able to ship them.

TOQUEPALA MINING PROJECT
The mining project will double the copper production of the mine.
COMPROMETIDOS CON EL FUTURO PROGRAM

The new Board of the Graña y Montero Group publicly launched Comprometidos con el Futuro program, with the aim of leading risk management, good corporate governance and compliance; developing the highest standards of ethics, transparency and integrity.

CUAJONE MINING PROJECT

The project consisted of the construction of a conveyor belt system for the transport of copper ore.
