Graña y Montero increases its share to 91% in the Chilean company Adexus

Graña y Montero increased its share in the national company Adexus to 91,03% with a view to consolidating its presence in Chile’s and the region’s IT business sector.

In this way, Adexus, a Comprehensive and Outsourcing Company for business processes and information technology (TI) with great leadership and experience in Chile, is starting a new phase, in conjunction with GMD, the IT Peruvian Company from Grupo Graña y Montero. Together they can continue growing region-wide by developing their business in Chile, Peru, Colombia and Ecuador.

As part of this process, a new board was appointed made up of highly-qualified experts: Jaime Dasso (Chairman), who is currently the General Manager of Grupo Graña y Montero’s Service Area (G&M); Antonio Rodríguez, G&M’s Corporate Commercial Manager; Klaus Winkler, CAM Chile’s Executive Vice Chairman; Fernando Concha, former General Manager of Citibank Chile and current Director of Itaú Corpbanca and Jorge Atton, former General Manager of Telefónica del Sur, former Sub-Secretary of Telecommunications, current Director of Endesa and Televisión Nacional de Chile (Chilean National Television).

Thus, Adexus’ business focus will now include consulting services for businesses’ digital transformation, communication and IT solutions and technology services, IT outsourcing and business processes, software factory for development, maintenance and QA of business applications.

Adexus’ General Manager, Manuel Fernández Pollán, stated that he was convinced that “the human capacities, high technical quality, wide experience and prestige of both companies will generate more business value and productivity, offering an attractive highly-specialized and region-wide service option”.
